There are so many US towns named after cities abroad that it is amazing. I was reading about several of them that were latecomers, and were named after middle eastern locations when Arabian nights and the middle east generated such interest for those coming of age in the 1920's and 1930's. Bagdad Arizona is one that comes to mind in the days of Sinbad and Kerwin Matthews. Will the embajadores viajan a Lima, Ohio?
