Spanish Film at the County Theater -- Every year, we collaborate with the County Theater in Doylestown to present a Spanish film (with subtitles). Before the film begins, we present the high school academic scholarship winners. After the film, there is an informal reception in the lobby. * All are welcome!

High School Seniors -- In 2012, Sociedad Hispana Doylestown began offering scholarships to high school seniors who demonstrate a strong interest in the language and cultures of Spanish-speaking countries. Candidates submit an application, write an essay and participate in a discussion with judges. Last year, we awarded almost $8,000 total to nine students. Another $8,000 will be presented again this year; applications will be available online in January 2016 via our website.
We would like to thank all of our SHD members and sponsors who make it possible for us to offer these scholarships every year. ¡Gracias!
